Queer MSC:
Mindful Self-Compassion for 2SLGBTIQ+
Dr. Christopher Germer, co-founder of the MSC program, invited me and two colleagues to curate a curriculum
that makes self-compassion more accessible to the experience of the queer community.
The Queer MSC curriculum has been verified by CMSC (Center for Mindful Self-Compassion, San Diego).
It is currently offered in German and English.
.

Dr. Christopher Germer, co-founder of the MSC Program,
talks about the Queer MSC curriculum.
Themes of this resiliency training include
mindfulness and self-compassion, and how those are mapped across terrains such as minority stress, consent, intimacy, authenticity and values, anger and PRIDE, connection and belonging.

Testimonials
"What interests me most about MSC is 'self-compassion,' as I am very hard on myself. I hope to become a little softer and more understanding towards myself. I would like to be able to name my resources
and use them consciously."
"I take care of my surroundings a lot and forget that I exist, too; I work
a lot and often don't pay enough attention to my boundaries."
"I would like to get to know MSC in a group of like-minded people."
"Personal development has been my endeavour for years."
"Because I still have the feeling of exclusion and I have always lacked self-compassion."
"I think it's wonderful that there is a course for queer people."
"I would like to deepen my own LGBTQ+ aspects in community
with other LGBTQ+ people."
"To deepen tools that help me to deal with myself in a positive way. More practical applications of aspects of my therapy."
"I'm in a period of transition right now. I have the feeling that I know what is good for me when I listen to myself. However, I do this too rarely and often find it difficult to put it into practice (in everyday life
and on a larger scale, as far as my path is concerned)."
